The Man in the Sea Museum is located in Panama City Beach in northwestern Florida. It features hands-on exhibits and the SeaLab, an experimental underwater habitat built by the Navy in the 1960s. Any diving enthusiast will enjoy this attraction. They also display underwater masks, diving suit rigs, and early submarine models throughout the museum. Guests can go at their own pace to explore what the museum offers, but they recommend allotting at least two hours to get the whole experience.
Hours of operation are Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are exhibits inside and outside, and the museum remains open, rain or shine. Admission rates are $6 for children (ages 6-17), $8 for adults (ages 18-64), $6 for adults over 65 and military with ID, and free for children up to 5 years old.
