Kemah Boardwalk is located 30 miles southeast of downtown Houston. This 60-acre amusement park has great amenities and is located along Galveston Bay. It is home to 12 well-known waterfront restaurants, kiosks, and a dinner cruise yacht. Please note that outside food and drinks are prohibited. The theme of the Kemah Boardwalk is seafood and marine life associated with the Texas Gulf Coast. Guests can enjoy specialty shopping along the boardwalk. The Kemah Boardwalk is home to live entertainment with concerts in the summers, and it also hosts holiday festivals and custom events. Group discounts are available. This Boardwalk features a two-story carousel, balloon wheels, and many more thrilling amusement park rides. If the weather is not suitable for them to stay open, no rainchecks or refunds are available. It is open daily, however, some hours may change due to events, weather, or for any other reason. The Kemah Boardwalk also has an onsite hotel. The park is wheelchair accessible but does not provide any wheelchair rentals. Strollers must be parked outside lines for the attractions. Service animals will be welcomed but not in the buildings or on rides. This area is a great place to visit with friends or family.
