The Ernie Miller Park & Nature Center is located near I-35 in northeastern Kansas. It features paved walking trails, primitive hiking trails, and over 100 acres of green space to explore. Little Cedar Creek runs through the park, and you will also see native prairies and shady woodlands. This park is open daily from dawn to dusk, and admission is free for all visitors. Please note that leashed dogs are only allowed on the Rolling Ridge (paved trail) in the park's southwestern corner.
The nature center hours are Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 1 pm to 5 pm during the regular season (March 1 - October 31). However, the facility is closed on Sundays from June 1 through August 31. Winter hours are Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 4:30 pm and Sunday from 12:30 to 4:30 pm.
