Delve into the world of computers and technology.
If you’ve ever wanted to learn more about computers and how they have evolved, the computer history museum is the place to go. Admission prices are $17.50 for adults, $6 for kids ages 8-10, $13.50 for students and kids 11 and older, seniors 65 and older, or those with an active military ID. Children under 7 are free. This museum has exhibits fit for all ages. Some of the exhibits follow the history of computers, including a demo lab that lets you play with the technology used in businesses and gaming in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Another exhibit shows over 2000 years of the history of computing, which follows technology innovations up until the present day.
One of the other well-known exhibits shows how software has changed the world and displays different parts of software, including car crash simulations and the making of the video game World of Warcraft. A group of exhibits called the Learning Lab allows visitors to participate in hands-on activities. The Learning Lab has an Imaginarium, which allows guests to play with the technology built around music and art. Right next to it, visitors can play with puzzles and codes. There’s so much to discover here, so check out this neat technology museum.
