Stop by this historic pier as you explore Fisherman's Wharf.
The Hyde Street Pier contains the largest collection of ships on the West Coast. This is the biggest museum that floats on water and houses the biggest research collection in the National Park Service.
You can take a guided tour of all of the ships to learn about their historical significance. There are over 500,000 photographs and thousands of artwork on display to showcase the heritage of the 19th century when these ships were in use. After your walk through the ships, stroll to the end of the pier to get an incredible view of the Golden Gate bridge. This is a fun spot where you can discover more about maritime history.
