Learn about the legacy of Walt Disney's family here.
Opened by Walt Disney’s late daughter Diane, the museum was dedicated to Walt and his family's legacy. It is located in San Francisco on a retired Army base. Rooms such as the dining hall, library, game room, and barracks were redesigned to accommodate the Disney family legacy displays. Walt Disney’s business accomplishments are displayed as well as the accomplishments of his family, showcasing the deep dedication and memories of his family members.
This museum's purpose is not just to educate but to inspire all guests to chase their dreams and use their imagination. Walt Disney’s own voice narrates drawings, models of park projects, and other interactive exhibits. Galleries are also available to encourage artists to develop and share their skills. You can also experience screenings for many Disney films and projects or take some film workshops while you’re here. General admission ranges from $15 to $25, and children 5 and under are free.
