Bonanzaville is home to 41 historical buildings and features over 400,000 artifacts. The collection of historical artifacts and buildings began in 1967 and continues to collect items throughout the country. Experience the pioneer era with buildings such as blacksmith shops, hotels, saloons, log cabins, brick houses, courthouses, mercantile, schoolhouses, and more. Each building has a unique history.
The museum was built in 1972 to house historical artifacts where visitors can look at old tools, clothing, books, and photographs. Exhibits frequently rotate throughout the year. Visitors can choose to tour the museums, pioneer village, or both. The museum is closed from October to April, excluding weekends from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturdays and noon to 5 pm on Sundays. The museum and village are open from May through August. Summer hours are 10 am to 7 pm, with reduced hours on Sundays. In September, the hours run from 10 am to 5 pm. During the off-season, the village and museum can be opened by appointments only. Bonneville USA provides historical attractions for all age groups to enjoy.
