Hidden sandy gem in Laguna Beach
Victoria Beach is one of the more secluded beaches in Southern California, located just south of Victoria Street in Laguna Beach. This spot is a local favorite for locals. Getting here can be a bit of a challenge since it lies in front of a private gated Laguna Beach housing development. The public can still access this beach from a stairway located right next to the address 2713 Victoria Drive. Parking can be scarce around Victoria Beach, park along Pacific Coast Highway and plan for a little walk to get to the stairway path down to the beach.
This hidden gem is popular for the beautiful Victorian La Tour Tower, commonly referred to as a lighthouse structure or Pirate Tower, built back in the 1920s. Near the stairway access, if you walk out onto the rocks around the point, you will be able to see this stunning structure. Plus it makes for a great photo opportunity. However, a permit is required for any professional photography done at this beach.
