The Slaughterhouse Haunted Attraction

The Slaughterhouse is located in downtown Des Moines just south of Interstate 235. This attraction is inside a real slaughterhouse rendering facility which opens up as a haunted house every October. Part of the fun of this haunted attraction is the Loading Bay ride which takes you through a mine on a manually operated cart. Please note that photography and video are prohibited, and you will be asked to leave if you use your phone or GoPro inside.

This haunted attraction is open Thursday through Sunday in October, and they require all customers to buy tickets online. All sales are final, and there are no refunds, so be sure to pick your preferred time slot and arrive early. They allow groups of up to 6 people at a time, so expect to be split up if you have a larger group. The Slaughterhouse is open, rain or shine.
