Sampson State Park is located in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. This state park encompasses over 2,000 acres on the eastern side of Seneca Lake and features over 200 campsites. Popular recreational activities at Sampson State Park include hiking, swimming, fishing, boating, and camping. If you're in the mood for a bike ride, you can rent a bike for a day at this park for $20 or $35 if you'd prefer a tandem bike. They also have tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts available. Please note that camping season lasts from the end of May through early October, and swimming season is mid-June through Labor Day weekend.
This park is open year-round from dawn to dusk. Camping costs are $15 to $31 per day, with an additional $6 fee for sites with electric hookups. The marina has nearly 100 boat slips and gas pumps, making it convenient for anyone to enjoy a boating excursion on the lake.
