Enjoy a cold beer inside a professional race team's garage.
This rustic brewery is in an industrial part of town. The outside of the building looks just like a warehouse, but the inside looks much nicer. Salt Flats got its start at the taps of the Garage Grill in Draper, Utah. The Garage Grill is a racing-themed restaurant with 20 beer taps. They moved to their current location in March of 2018, with its legal name changing to Salt Flats Brewery.
The founder of Salt Flats Brewing is Steve Pruitt is a longtime racecar driver and team owner. Pruitt's first hybrid-powered car from the Pruitt's Corsa Motorsports team is displayed at Garage Grill, but many other racecars are parked inside the production brewery. The Brewery sits in a professional race team's garage. Its location is great, with the Bonneville Salt flats to the west and the Rocky Mountain Raceways makes it a neat spot for visitors and locals. In November 2019, the brewery released a series of canned cocktails, Salt Flats Spirits, and bottles of light rum, gin, and vodka. The lineup includes Bonneville Bourbon Whiskey too.
