The Petersen Automotive Museum is housed in a building that is a work of art in and of itself. Visitors cannot miss it with its unique lines, shape, and colors on the exterior. The museum is a car lover's dream as visitors explore state-of-the-art displays laid out in a flowing fashion. You will see various vehicles spanning over 120 years of automotive history. It offers the most iconic and rare cars, plus motorcycles, and trucks. The Peterson Automotive Museum is the largest guided automotive tour in the United States.

There are displays of vehicles from 6 different regions, providing an amazing experience exploring the history of the automobile. You will see supercars, Hollywood dream machines, performance cars, and electric cars. There are also American classics, award-winning hot rods, and cars that pushed the boundaries of innovation. The museum is owned by a nonprofit organization specializing in automobile history. They also have a Forza motorsport racing experience where guests sit in a video game-like seat and race on the screen. Kids will enjoy the hands-on activities such as the Lego area where you can create your own car. This awesome museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm.
