Patsy Cline's final resting place is close to a bell tower made possible by her dear friends.
Patsy Cline is considered the best female vocalist in country music of her era, Cline died way too soon and had a lot more songs to sing. Her voice was amazing and is listened to all over the world, even decades after her death. She had a large vocal range and so much control over her voice. After leaving a benefit concert she boarded a small engine plane with 3 others and made it 90 miles from their destination before crashing into a wooded area on a farm. The weather was poor, and unfortunately, no one on the plane made it. She was married with 2 young children and died at 30 years old with so many songs still to sing. Cline was a very generous person and would help young singers with money for rent and other necessities so that they could continue to sing and focus on their music. After her death, some of her friends such as Loretta Lynn and Dottie West had a bell tower memorial erected close to her grave at the Shenandoah Memorial Park that played music. The plaque says "In memory of Patsy Cline by her many friends and fans." Many visitors leave coins on the gravesite and the memorial because it is said to bring you luck.
