Cacapon Resort State Park, located within Berkeley Springs, is a 6,000-acre paradise in the shadows of the high peaks within West Virginia. The land has been cleared for high-quality lumber and now provides a relaxing outdoor recreational experience for everyone to enjoy. Activities all year round include hiking, biking, fishing, golf, and more. Hiking trails vary in difficulty and loop around some vast breathtaking landscapes that have native trees, dense forests, and numerous plants.
The name Cacapon originated from the Native Americans and it means medicine water. The water in Berkeley Springs has a historical past of supposedly having natural healing powers. The state resort park was created by the Federal Civilian Conservations Corp, and it opened in July of 1937. The Park began constructing cabins and lodges in the 1950s, and in 1973, the resort greatly benefited from the famous Robert Trent Golf Course. The resort is also currently undergoing amazing renovations and will reopen soon.
The state park hosts numerous seasonal events and offers a series of crafting activities. Nearby attractions also provide a variety of options within a short driving distance, such as Berkeley Spring State Park.

The menu consists of delicious and traditional American food. The restaurant can provide special catering for events including weddings, family reunions, business meetings, banquets, and more.
