Mark Twain State Park is located in southwestern New York. This place is named after Mark Twain, the 19th-century author who used to frequent the area in the summertime. The state park features an 18-hole golf course, and this park is also open seasonally for archery hunting, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. Small game hunting is allowed during the hunting season, and all hunters must obtain a special park hunting permit to hunt here.
Guests are welcome to book their tee time at the Soaring Eagles Golf Course online, or you can stop by and pay in person. The golf course hours are 8 AM to 30 minutes before sunset from April to May and October to November. During the rest of the season, their hours are 7 AM to 30 minutes before sunset. An 18-hole game is $27 per person, and a 9-hole game is $17 per person. Mark Twain State Park is open from April to November.
