Enjoy a hike or play disc golf at this neighborhood park in northern Utah.
Freedom Hills Park is located in a neighborhood in Centerville, Utah. It features a playground, a covered picnic shelter, hiking trails, a paved walking trail, and a 9-hole disc golf course. The hiking trail starts a little steep and has over a dozen switchbacks. This nearly two-mile hiking trail is well-maintained and features fine gravel, so you can wear either tennis shoes or hiking boots here. You will gain a better view of the valley the higher you go, so feel free to take breaks and sit at the benches during your hike.
This park has several trees lining the perimeter of the walking path, offering plenty of shade. Many locals like to take their dogs on a walk through the park. Be careful around the marshy areas while disc golfing. One hole leads from the other side of the marsh up onto the hill, so throw your disc as far as possible to avoid losing your disc among the reeds. If you are searching for a walkable park in northern Utah, head to Freedom Hills Park.
