Visitors can participate in various outdoor recreation, such as snorkeling, kayaking, or fishing. A dog beach is located just west of the pier, close to the WWI Fort. Pet owners can also use the off-leash dog park. If you come for a day trip, the cost is $5 per car per day to enter the park. The WWI Fort is a great place to visit with cannons that date back to the Spanish American War. There are 3 camping areas: Area 1 is for tents, vans, and pop-ups (1 - 85). Area 2 is for all camping units and is pet-friendly (86 - 164). Area 3 is for all camping units and is a pet-free zone (165 - 236). Come and have a blast on the beach at Fort De Soto Park!
