Enjoy kayaking, swimming, and observing wildlife at Three Sisters Springs.
The Three Sisters Springs is located in Crystal River, Florida, about 80 miles north of Tampa. If you're here for kayaking, you can find the public kayak launches at Hunter Springs Park and King's Bay Park. Kayakers are welcome at Three Sisters Springs between April and mid-November. Swimming is allowed daily from sunrise to sunset, but they sometimes do close during manatee season. The best time to see the manatees is in the winter (typically between November and March).
This natural spring also features a boardwalk, and the nearby wildlife refuge offers guided walking tours (suspended until further notice) during manatee season. Please note that there is only handicap parking available; otherwise, guests must access the springs by hopping on their trolley. Shuttle services operate from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm daily. If you're touring through Florida's Gulf Coast, consider visiting Three Sisters Springs.
