Exploration Place is home to a specially designed children's museum with engaging science-themed play areas. The museum has about 12 different galleries to explore with exhibits ranging from health science, NASA, planes, Kansas history, and more. Some exhibits rotate through and are on display here for a limited time. One traveling drone-photography exhibit offers stunning views with top-of-the-line technology. The dome theater is the largest in the state, with the screen measuring around 60 feet and features a 360-degree view with surround sound audio. Films rotate regularly each month and are nature and science-based. 

Exploration Place is located in downtown Wichita, Kansas, within easy access from hotels and major businesses. The establishment is accessible from major highways. Parking is free, and there are loading and unloading areas in front of the museum. Bus and trailer parking is available on the west side of the parking lot. The exploration place is open from 10 am to 5 pm, and there are admission price options to fit everyone's needs.
