Dunaway Gardens is located southwest of Atlanta in Newnan, Georgia. This spot has been around since the 1930s and is on the national register of historic places. Dunaway Gardens was used as a retreat for many celebrities, including Walt Disney. It also served as a training ground for up-and-coming actors and actresses. For years, Dunaway Gardens was forgotten, but since 2005, it has been a premier botanical garden for all to enjoy. It features a small waterfall, creek, an outdoor amphitheater, sunken gardens, spring-fed pools, scenic overlooks, and stunning greenery throughout the 20+ acre park.
