Come and visit this historic motel on Route 66.
This family-owned and operated motel is located on historic Route 66. Built in the 1940s, the motel has lodged thousands of guests. The unique factor of this particular establishment is the attached garage hooked onto each room. A large neon sign out front announces offerings such as TV and Wifi. Decorations inside and outside each room are dated back to the 1950s. It’s common to see a retro or old-style car, such as a Cadillac, parked in front of the motel.
Interstate 40 was built in the 1960s and bypassed many small towns. All visitors who have ventured here since then get to experience genuine hospitality at this quaint motel. In 1993, it was added to the National Registry of Historic Places and was the inspiration for the Cozy Cone Motel in the fictional town of Radiator Springs. Please be aware that all of the rooms are non-smoking, and they do not allow pets. Check-in is between 3 and 9 pm, and guests must check out by 10 am. Feel free to book a room and stay overnight at this historic motel during your travels.
