Discover this unique wildlife sanctuary in the deserts of northern Nevada.
This wildlife attraction is located in northern Reno. Animal Ark is home to various wildlife creatures such as cheetahs, hawks, falcons, owls, porcupines, vultures, tigers, bears, wolves, mountain lions, and tortoises. There are daily live feedings at the bear exhibit at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. The cooler hours of the day are when the animals are most active, so come right when they open if at all possible.
Bring good walking shoes with you and follow the 1-mile dirt/gravel trail outside to get a good look at the animals here. If you want to bring a light lunch, there is also a large picnic area plus a nearby playground to let little ones get their energy out. Hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 10 am to 4:30 pm. Admission is free for kids ages two and under, and regular ticket prices range from $9 to $14 per person. To get the most out of your visit, expect to stay here for at least 2 hours. You can buy tickets online but must show your PayPal confirmation of purchase to gain entrance. Explore the Animal Ark with your friends and family today.
