Get up close and personal with the alligators at this unique wildlife attraction in southeastern Alabama. Guests can begin with a walking tour along the elevated boardwalk and observe over 200 alligators of all sizes and ages, hatching, swimming, sunning, nesting, and peering back at you. These gators are rescues living at the farm, enjoying the natural habitat without being a nuisance to the community. Other local Alabama wildlife you may see include turtles, bullfrogs, owls, and osprey. Feeding times are at 11 AM, 1 PM, and 4 PM.
Be sure to meet Captain Crunch at Alligator Alley. He is one of the largest alligators and holds the record for the strongest bite at 2,982 pounds. That's a lot of pressure behind 80 very sharp teeth. If looking isn't enough for you, they also have baby alligators you can hold at the air-conditioned gator station. Ask any questions you've been dying to know the answer to, the staff will most likely know the answer about anything regarding alligators. This place is open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM, and admission rates are less than $20 per person. Nature lovers of all ages can enjoy spending time at Alligator Alley.
