The USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park is a historic attraction located in Mobile, Alabama. In 1942, the USS Alabama battleship was docked at the waterfront in Mobile, finding its final resting place after being decommissioned. Visitors are welcome to tour parts of the ship, such as the captain’s cabin, bridge, mess hall, and turrets. Not only can you see the USS Alabama, known as the “Mighty A,” but you can also see the USS Drum, a submarine that was also used during World War II.
They also have different aircraft, such as the B-52 bomber and A-12 Black Bird spy plane, and military equipment like tanks on-site. The USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park is a memorial for all of those who served bravely during World War II. This is a great place to learn more about the war and American military history.
