Take a look at a collection of Superman memorabilia.
The Super Museum officially opened in 1993, and it is located right across from the largest Superman statue. Jim Hambrick is the owner of the museum, and he has dedicated his life to providing the greatest collection of iconic Superman items. His collection includes toys, movie props, promotional items, Man of Steel, and more. Hambrick started this journey at the young age of five when he received an inspiring gift of a Superman lunch box from his parents. His ambition and love of Superman started, and growing up he even hosted a Superman collection shrine in his room. As a kid, he would attract the attention of his neighborhood friends who would pay a dollar to see his whole collection.
Hambrick's collection has grown exponentially over the years, with over 70,000 items. His number one most prized possession is the George Reeves Superman costume he obtained. This museum has been featured on television shows including daily talk shows, late-night entertainment, documentaries, news platforms, and more. The museum has been awarded the number one small town attraction in America. The exhibits change frequently, so expect to see something new every time you come for a visit.
The museum is open from April through September from 9 am to 6 pm daily. October through March, the museum is open from 9 am to 5 pm. Admission is $5 for anyone aged six and older, and free to anyone under the age of 5. There is also a gift shop where visitors can buy Superman souvenirs such as apparel, shot glasses, toys, and more. Come and experience this unique museum and learn a thing or two about this classic franchise.
