Strategic Air Command Museum

Anyone who enjoys aircraft will love a trip to this museum. They have 35 aircraft on display in the hangar, plus some missiles and rockets. Another thing to look forward to is the spacecraft on display such as the Apollo Command Space Module. Docent tours of the Strategic Air Command and Aerospace Museum take about two hours total. You will also be able to see exhibits that tell about the history of flight during the Korean War, WWII, and Vietnam War. Additionally, there are exhibits featuring astronauts and notable men and women.

The museum is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm. At the end of the tour, you can pay extra to experience a flight simulator on one of their state-of-the-art machines that make you feel like you are truly flying. This museum offers a great opportunity for children and adults to gain a deeper appreciation for brave men and women in the field of air and space travel.
