Soak City

Enjoy family-friendly fun and cool off at Soak City during the summer.

Soak City is an outdoor waterpark about 30 minutes north of Richmond, Virginia. It features eight different waterslides, including Turbo Twister, Night Slider, Power Plunge, and Rip Slide. A major attraction you shouldn't skip out on is Aqua Blast, a 449-foot enclosed tube ride with four 360-degree "constrictor" spiral loops. Many visitors also enjoy relaxing on the lazy river and playing in the wave pool. Young and old visitors can cool off at the interactive splash pad. One of the new areas is called Lighthouse Landing, a multi-level, interactive water play structure with 200 elements and several waterslides within the massive structure. 

Soak City is open seasonally (Memorial Day through Labor Day) and is usually open from 12 pm to 6 pm. Guests are not allowed to bring food into the park; however, there are picnic tables near the front entrance. If you want to eat inside the park, there are plenty of food and snack options at Surfer Joe's, Sharkey's Eats, and BoardWalk Fries.
