Come here to take a waterway tour aboard a glass-bottomed boat.
From its original discovery in the early neolithic periods into colonization, this easily accessible river developed into a tourist thorough way using steamboats and transferring to the nearby railways; but for some, it was a destination. It wasn’t until the 1980s that a truly authentic creation was made -- the glass-bottomed boat. Hullam Jones and Phillip Morrell became famous for their specialized river tours ever since.
Many movies have used this location for filming, most notably The Creature From the Black Lagoon and Rebel Without a Cause. There are over 4,000 acres in this state-owned park. Come and enjoy your time at this awesome state park.
