Cleveland, Ohio, was voted to be home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1985. The groundbreaking ceremony featured well-known artists, and in 1995, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, museum, gift shop, and cafe were opened to the public. Visitors are encouraged to bring water bottles, but please note that outside food or drinks are not allowed. The on-site cafe has snacks and easy grab-and-go food options.
Guests are encouraged to take a self-guided tour through the museum. Exhibits include the history of rock and roll and portray the positive musical impact, including the role of women in rock and roll. Listen to the hundreds of one-hit-wonders and explore the largest collection of Elvis Presley photographs and audio samples. You will also see iconic artifacts, instruments, and stage outfits and discover the legends of Rock and Roll.
