Explore this nature preserve in the heart of Ogden, Utah.
The Ogden Nature Center covers 152 acres and has several walking trails that take you around several ponds. Bird blinds are located at the Arrowhead Pond and Teal Pond, directly north and south of the visitor center. There have been over 100 bird species spotted here, including various ducks, herons, hawks, doves, owls, vireos, orioles, warblers, finches, and more. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch with you, they offer picnic tables right outside the visitor center, and there are more picnic tables by the north entrance parking lot.
Admission rates are $5 per adult, $4 for seniors (65+), $3 for children ages 2 - 12, and children under 2 are free. It is open year-round from 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, and 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday.
