Natural Bridge State Park is located off Interstate 81 and is about 30-minutes away from Roanoake, Virginia. The natural bridge has been named a historic landmark since 1988. It is a gorgeous 215-feet tall limestone bridge that was formed naturally by Cedar Creek. This park is a hiker's paradise and has a beautiful backdrop full of forests, mountains, and valleys. Soak in the beauty of this incredible state park and bring binoculars with you to watch the local birds and other wildlife along the way.
This state park is open daily from 8 am to dusk. There is a visitor center and trail store nearby that has restrooms and supplies. Right behind the visitor center, you will find picnic tables, which offer a place to sit and have a light meal before or after a hike.
