The National Elk Refuge Sleigh Rides offers horse-drawn sleigh rides to take visitors through the spectacular National Elk Refuge in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. This is a great way to see some of the breathtaking scenery of Jackson Hole and get to see the elk herds that migrate here for the winter.
Before going on the sleigh ride, visitors will first wait in the visitor center located nearby. You can explore the visitor center and learn about the different animals at the refuge while you wait. You can also learn more about why the elk migrate to this refuge specifically. From the visitors center, guests will take a shuttle to their desired destination for their sleigh ride.
Professionally trained guides operate the sleigh rides. These guides will take you through a field filled with hundreds of elk, and share information about the National Elk Refuge. There are many different animals that you may see during your trip through the Elk Refuge, such as coyotes, wolves, deer, bighorn sheep, and more. Nature lovers of all ages will enjoy their time here in Wyoming and its magical winter landscapes.
