Enjoy the Granite Hot Springs in western Wyoming.
The Granite Hot Springs and Campground are adjacent to Granite Creek. It is in south Jackson, situated in the Gros Ventre Mountains. The campground has 51 sites that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each site has a picnic table, and the camp area has toilets, drinking water, and fire pits. Camping costs $15 per night, and there are 3 loops with 6 pull-through sites for RVs. About 2/3 of the sites are in a pine forest, and the rest are further out in the open. Enjoy camping under the stars and relax by the creek during your stay. Anglers can enjoy fishing along Granite Creek, and there are plenty of hiking trails to explore too. Keep in mind that the Granite Hot Springs is only accessible in the winter months via snowmobiles, dog sled tours, and cross-country skiing.
About a mile up the road from the camp is Granite Hot Springs. This naturally heated pool was originally built by Civilian Conservation Corps in 1933. The Granite Hot Springs pool is open from 10 am to 8 pm in the summer (May 15th - October 31st), and 10 am - 6 pm on the off-season. Admission rates are $8 for adults and $5 for children. The springs are a local favorite, and it is an ideal spot for anyone visiting this part of Wyoming.
