Grand Teton National Park

 

Grand Teton’s 310,000 acres of land feature lush valley floors, mountain meadows, alpine lakes, and the rising peaks of the Teton mountain range. Grand Teton National Park is located in western Wyoming, just south of Yellowstone National Park. This wilderness welcomes thousands of visitors for outdoor recreation such as hiking, camping, and fishing. Be on the lookout for birds and other wildlife as you explore the park. Some of the smallest and largest birds live here, so if you have binoculars, you can expect to see birds like osprey, western tanagers, trumpeter swans, and more. 

 

The best time of day to avoid crowds at the popular spots within the park is during the early morning hours before 9 am. You can also venture later in the day after 4 pm if you prefer to see fewer people in the cooler evening hours. Please note that all campgrounds are available by reservation only, and guests are encouraged to reserve a campsite online. This is bear country, so keep your food secure every night and stay at least 100 yards away from these predators. Explore over 200 miles of trails, float down the Snake River, and enjoy the serenity of this remarkable place with your friends and family.
