Enjoy this serene Japanese garden on Chappaquiddick Island.
Featuring native and exotic plants, this Japanese Garden was created by a local Japanese architect named Hugh Jones. Admission is $5 per person and includes access to two other sites on the island, Dyke Bridge and Wasque. It is open daily from sunrise to sunset and has a half-mile trail where you can get nice views of the salt marsh and pond.
Please stay on the marked pathways in the garden, so you don't get lost. Feel free to bring food with you and sit at the picnic tables to enjoy a meal together. Carry out anything you bring with you so that the gardens remain clean and as pristine as possible. This luscious green Japanese garden is a perfect place to reconnect with nature and relieve your stress. Be sure to visit the next time you're traveling here with your friends and family.
