Explore this cave in southeastern Idaho.
The Minnetonka Cave is located west of Bear Lake in southeastern Idaho, nestled in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest. Visitors to this cave can explore half a mile of stalagmites, stalactites, and nine different rooms inside this underground attraction. Guided tours of the Minnetonka Cave are available from mid-June through Labor Day. Daily tours run every 15 minutes from 10 am to 5:30 pm.
Please note that the cave remains at a constant 40 degrees Fahrenheit, so bring a jacket with you. Admission rates are $12 for adults and $9 for children ages 6 to 15. Children ages 2 to 5 are free, but anyone under the age of 2 cannot go on a cave tour. Anyone who loves camping and hiking will enjoy spending time here.
