Logan State Park is a 17-acre park situated in a beautiful, heavily forested region in northwestern Montana. Native trees you will see include Western Larch, Douglas Fir, and Ponderosa Pine trees. Wildlife is abundant here, so keep your eyes peeled for animals during your stay. Logan State Park sits on the Northshore of Middle Thompson Lake and is connected by a water channel of an upper lake. This State Park is at an elevation of 3,333 feet. Many visitors enjoy outdoor recreation such as swimming, boating, playing horseshoes, hiking, water skiing, ice fishing, fishing, RV camping, and observing wildlife. Amenities include ADA-accessible areas and 37 campsites for RVs and trailers. Please note that RVs up to 40 feet long are allowed.
Each campsite is equipped with fire pits, firewood availability, RV dump stations, RV hookups, showers, toilets, and more. Pets are also welcome in Logan State Park, but please be vigilant and keep them on a leash while hiking. Logan State Park is open daily from 7 am to 10 pm. Please note that food storage needs to be in hard-sided containers or inside your vehicle. Food lockers are also available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please do not burn food waste as it can attract unwanted wildlife visitors. Any food waste should be placed inside bear-resistant containers.
