Lincoln Rock State Park is located in central Washington off US Highway 2. This state park is open daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and it was named Lincoln Rock by a group of explorers who looked at the basalt rocks and saw the familiar face of Abraham Lincoln. The park comprises about 86 acres of land and provides limitless outdoor recreation. Guests can use the open fields for outdoor sports such as soccer, football, and ultimate frisbee. If you're looking for an extended stay, rent a cabin or bring tents, trailers, and RVs to their campground. Check-in time is 2:30 pm, and check-out is 1 pm.
Avid hikers will enjoy Rocky Reach Trail, which is about 5 miles long and connects with other trails spanning about 20 miles. Many of the trails are ADA-accessible and are designed for biking, walking, and jogging. Many visitors come to the park for boating, swimming, and jet skiing, and the park also features two boat launches, a 362-foot dock, and 650 moorages. The park has two kitchens, grills, electricity hookups, and 80 different picnic spaces. If you don't want to pack your own lunch, you can purchase food from the Lincoln Rock Snack Shack. The shack is open daily and offers a variety of snacks, drinks, and ice cream. Other amenities at Lincoln Rock State Park include amphitheaters, basketball, tennis, and baseball courts, a playground, a squash wall, horseshoe pits, and more.
