The Kelsey Museum of Archaeology is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and features exhibits with over 1,500 historical artifacts on display. It covers the ancient Egyptian and Classical Greek eras in their permanent exhibition and sets up various rotating exhibits every year. The permanent collection includes a painted Egyptian mummy coffin, Middle Eastern amulets, Greek pottery, sculptures, Roman glass vessels, and other interesting archaeological finds.
Regular museum hours are Tuesday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm and weekends from 1 pm to 4 pm. Admission is free for all ages, but they always welcome donations if you want to contribute directly to the museum. Please note that the public entrance to this museum is on Maynard Street, and metered parking is available on Maynard, East William, and State Streets.
