Stroll along the beach at one of New Hampshire's top state parks.
Located in southeastern New Hampshire, Hampton Beach State Park is one of the only coastal areas in the state. They have 28 RV campsites with full hookup services available. Pop-ups and tents are not allowed; however, this state park is ideal for a day trip. There are picnic areas, a visitor's center, restrooms, and a playground within the park. Swimming is a popular activity too, so bring your swimsuit and enjoy body surfing in the Atlantic Ocean or spend some time building sandcastles on the beach.
Pets are only allowed on the beach during the off-season (October 1 - April 30) and must remain on a leash. These dates also coincide with when horseback riding is permitted on the beach. Hampton Beach State Park is surrounded by salt marshes and has plenty of space to find seashells and walk barefoot along the shore. Explore this hidden gem the next time you visit New Hampshire.
