Discover this incredible animal exhibit featuring various alligators and other adventurous activities.
Known as The Alligator Capital of the World, this animal exhibit is home to many exotic animals—not just reptiles. Since 1949, Gatorland has been the lead facility for alligator safety and education. Alligators and crocodiles range from babies to 14-foot adults, but the most notable of the bunch include the rare albino alligators. One popular show is the Gator Jumparoo, where alligators race for lunch.
Guests can also enjoy a petting zoo with more approachable animals, an aviary, a monster truck adventure, and even a zipline, all of which are included in the price of admission. Some other animals featured in the park are wild cats, tortoises, snakes, and other critters. Owen Goodwin was the founder and is the private owner of all 110 acres. He also founded the Florida Wildlife Institute. Come and learn about alligators and other wildlife creatures at Gatorland.
