The Cornell Botanic Gardens are situated near Beebe Lake in Ithaca, New York. It encompasses 500 acres and takes an average of 3 hours to see a majority of the areas within the garden. Private group tours are available if you'd like to have a guide show you around. From the welcome center, you will see a groundcover collection, perennial plants from North, Central, and South America, an herb garden, rhododendron collection, rock garden, vegetable garden, and more. There is also an arboretum featuring a sculpture garden, scenic overlook, ponds, and various collections of trees.
These gardens are free and open to the public year-round from dawn to dusk; however, nearby parking is metered. The welcome center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 4 pm. There are restrooms at the welcome center, and guests can also add money to their donation box while they're here.
