The Chuck Mathena Center, also referred to as CMC, is a performing arts center that was inspired after the tragic loss of Charles T. Chuck. Charles was an avid music performer and a supporter of the fine arts. The great need for a fine performing arts center and a venue was evident in this part of the valley. With support from the community, the Chuck Mathena Center was a dream come true. The center was established on July 11, 2008.
This performing arts center has close to 1,000 seats in the theatre to accommodate large audiences. The center also includes state-of-the-art audio and visual features that are able to provide a unique and enjoyable experience. All technical information is available on the CMC website. The Chuck Mathena Center hosts professional performance tour groups all year including broadway, local theater, dance performances, musicians, and more. The general public is also able to rent the facility for any specific needs.
