Nestled along the Colorado River, this park is a great destination for all fun seekers
Buckskin Mountain State Park gives us one of the finest views along the Parker strip, an 18-mile stretch between Parker Dam and Headgate Dam. Mountains line the river on both the Arizona and California sides, and the wildlife is as varied as the recreational opportunities along the river. This park is a hidden gem that provides a scenic backdrop, mountain hikes and fun-filled water adventure. Come enjoy all the park has to offer. The park has a campground, beach, hiking trails, boat ramp, picnic area, basketball and volleyball court and a playground. The park has a designated swimming area to help visitors cool off in the long Arizona summers.
Enjoy fishing for Bass, Catfish, Sunfish and Bluegills from a boat or throw a line in from the shore. Arizona FIshing licenses are required for ages 10 and up.
