Buckskin Mountain State Park has scenic views along the Parker Strip, an 18-mile stretch between Parker Dam and Headgate Dam in western Arizona. Mountains line the river, and this park is a hidden gem you won't want to miss. Buckskin Mountain State Park features a campground, beach, hiking trails, boat ramp, picnic area, basketball and volleyball court, and a playground. There is also a designated swimming area where guests can cool off in the summer.
Anglers are welcome to fish for bass, catfish, bluegills, and sunfish on the Colorado River. Please note that Arizona state fishing licenses are required in order to fish here. You are welcome to book an extended stay at one of their 60 available campsites. They also have 21 new RV-accessible riverfront sites.
