Enjoy a night of entertainment, food, and the great outdoors nestled in the beautiful Colorado mountains.
Entertaining families since 1969, the Bar-D Wranglers offer a night to remember with true cowboy classic music, good clean comedy, and a delicious home-cooked meal. The drive out to the chuckwagon is breathtaking, winding through mountain roads lined with never-ending rows of aromatic pine trees and rolling hills. Once you arrive, there are several fun activities, including a train ride, gold panning, horseshoes, a shooting gallery, roping a steer dummy, shopping, a working blacksmith to watch, or cowboy poetry to listen to in the chapel.
There are shops open that sell beautiful artwork, handcrafted leather goods, souvenirs, and locally made chocolate delicacies. A delicious supper of grilled chicken, beef, or steak is served with a baked potato, oven-baked beans, homemade biscuits w/ butter & honey, chunky applesauce, home baked spice cake, cowboy coffee, or real lemonade. After you’ve enjoyed your meal, settle in for a night of good ol’ cowboy entertainment. You’ll be tapping your feet to the rhythm of the music and bursting with laughter along with the talented Bar-D Wranglers.
The Bar-D Chuckwagon is open evenings at 5 pm from Memorial Day weekend through September, with ticket prices ranging from $14 for children up to 10 years old, to $43, depending on your meal choice. Dinner is served at 6:30 pm, and the show starts around 7:30 pm. Call or visit their website to make reservations.
