The Buffalo Zoo

This zoo is one of the oldest in the US and features over 1,000 incredible animals!

The Buffalo Zoo is a wonderful place to spend a day with family or friends when visiting the area. This 23-acre zoo was established in 1875 and has over 1,000 incredible animals from all over the world. Some of the species include the African lion, ocelot, wallaby, red panda, polar bear, green anaconda, giraffe, and many, many more. The zoo has an array of intriguing exhibits that showcase each of the unique habitats these various animals come from.

The Buffalo Zoo offers fun and educational experiences for everyone, no matter the age! All guests will receive the opportunity to not only learn about all the different animals, but also the zoo’s important conservation efforts. They also host a variety of events throughout the year and offer exciting animal encounters, which allows for a one-of-a-kind opportunity to get up close and personal with the animals.
