Meander through this serene botanical garden in central Idaho.
The Sawtooth Botanical Garden is a lovely attraction located in Idaho's Sun Valley region. Open since 1994, this place encompasses 5 miles and features various lush ecosystems. Wildflowers cover the landscape in the spring and summer, making a colorful spectacle. Throughout the year, Sawtooth Botanical Garden hosts events that are perfect for kids of all ages, helping them understand and deepen their appreciation for nature. This attraction is run by a non-profit organization, and the grounds are open to the public daily from dawn to dusk.
Admission is $5 per person from May 1 - October 31. Before you go, stop by the Garden of Infinite Compassion, a section of the botanical garden that is arguably the most peaceful and serene place to sit. This portion of the Sawtooth Botanical Garden was dedicated to the Dalai Lama when he visited back in 2005. There is hardly a better place to sit and contemplate than here, where you can get a great view of the Sawtooth Mountains.
