Learn about two different battles that happened here during the Civil War.
Explore the battlefield and learn about the historical events that occurred here by seeing the exhibits at the Henry Hill Visitor Center and Brawner Farm Interpretive Center. Guided walking tours are available at both centers and are free of charge. With over 40 miles of trails, feel free to hike around and see the park for yourself. Trail maps can be found at the Henry Hill Visitor Center. Please wear appropriate clothing if you're going off the beaten path; various ticks live in the area.
If you want to stay out of the heat, take the 12 stop self-guided driving tour around the park. Every stop has a parking lot and signage to help you learn about the historical significance of the sites. Admission to Manassas National Battlefield Park is free for all ages. On the weekends throughout the summer, they also have cannon demonstrations. Check the visitor center for posted times so you can watch the weapons demonstration. If you enjoy American history, this national battlefield is a great place to visit.
