See a recreation of JFK's childhood home and learn about his early years in Brookline, Massachusetts.
The JFK National Historic Site is located off of Interstate 90, just west of Boston, Massachusetts. Anyone wanting to learn about the Kennedy family in their early days should consider visiting this historic site. Be sure to stop by the home where President Kennedy was born at 83 Beals Street. The family's second home was just a few blocks away on the corner of Naples Street and Abbottsford Road. They moved to the second home when John was just three years old. Eventually, they uprooted themselves and moved further away to New York after their father decided that Boston was no place to raise an Irish family.
All are welcome to take a self-guided tour of the historic home. Park staff members and rangers offer free programs such as landscape tours and specialty talks for guests. Tours are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. On-street parking is free for up to 2 hours, and most people spend about an hour at this historic site. Admission to this site is free, and it is a great place to learn about the Kennedy family's legacy.
