Check out the two-room house where Elvis Presley was born.

Located in Northeastern Mississippi, this humble home was built by Elvis Presley’s father. Sadly after a few short years, the Presley family were forced to move due to their financial circumstances. Even though times were tough, they still had each other and were grateful for what they had. The local minister taught Elvis how to play 3 chords on the guitar which encouraged him to pursue an interest in music. Growing up, Elvis was shy about singing in front of people, but one of his first public performances happened at a talent contest at the local fair. 

Come and learn more about Elvis Presley at the place where it all began. You can tour both the birth house and museum to discover Elvis Presley's early childhood days. There is also a church you may look at that happens to be the same church the Presley's attended. Tickets are available on-site and hours vary throughout the week, however, the birthplace and museum are open to the public daily.
